Originally from Canada, Mike immigrated to New Zealand over 30 years ago and spent the first 10 years working with Air New Zealand as International Cabin Crew.
This experience has allowed him to appreciate just how successful a co-ordinated team effort can be in achieving the ultimate goal of customer satisfaction.
Following his Air New Zealand days, Mike went into Residential Real Estate firstly as a salesperson, and then quickly followed by the transition into management.
For just on 20 years now, he has either run successful sales teams for other owners or has been involved in ownership himself, having 3 offices within the Howick area of Auckland for a number of years.
In addition to being an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, Mike is also an accredited REINZ licensed Auctioneer; having been on the coal face of onsite real estate auctions for the last 18 years and has called in excess of 3,000 onsite auctions to date.
Prior to his move to Rotorua, he was resident on Waiheke Island in Aucklands magnificent Hauraki Gulf where for over 8 years, Mike again, either owned or operated successful real estate offices.
The decision to make the move to Rotorua was an extremely easy one for me. I can see an amazing opportunity for growth in Rotorua especially in light of the new runway extensions at the airport coming online next year. One only has to look at the phenomenal growth of Queenstown following their International airport status to understand the growth that Rotorua will be undergoing.
Being able to work with some of Rotoruas top salespeople under the progressive ownership style that Shona and Alan Duncan possess, enables me to focus on the ultimate objective of real estate which is to ensure outstanding results for our Clients
