Holly L. Owen, B.Com (Auckland)

I am a Rotorua girl, educated here and in Auckland. While I was at Auckland University, I had an interview with a property entrepreneur. This inspired me, and my passion for property grows stronger.

My Bachelor of Commerce degree enabled me to gain a broad understanding of the commercial world, business and ethics.

I majored in Management and Marketing. This involved studying business from the strategic level with focus on business strategy, innovation, leadership and entrepreneurship.

This helped me to understand the concepts behind establishing and maintaining a successful and competitive business.

I have specialised in marketing and have gained the knowledge of how to analyse, develop, implement and control successful marketing strategies.

I find the real estate industry an exciting extension to my degree studies, as the degree has given me a more extensive and holistic view of the process, particularly from the client’s view.

I have a passion for the people I work with and for and realise the importance of good relations within a firm, and with clients. To me, sport is an essential ingredient in my lifestyle and since returning home to Rotorua I have been able to become involved, taking advantage of the wonderful facilities we have for tennis, cycling, running and water skiing.

I am determined to carve a career of integrity within the property industry in our community.

I am well prepared to go the extra mile on both a human and professional level.
